4th PAFLAR Congress Welcome Message
Dear Friends and colleagues,
On behalf of The Paediatric Society of the African League Against Rheumatism PAFLAR, it is our pleasure to invite you to the 4th edition of PAFLAR scientific annual congress which will be held on the 2nd and 3rd of May 2024 in Tunis, Tunisia.
PAFLAR is a dynamic and ambitious non-governmental organization founded in September 2019. Its primary mission is to foster a global environment where children facing musculoskeletal diseases enjoy equal and optimal opportunities for living, growing, and thriving, particularly in Africa. Our vision is to realize this goal by implementing impactful strategies and programs that enhance the well-being of African children with rheumatic diseases. This involves actively advocating for and implementing policies, conducting research initiatives, and delivering education programs specifically tailored to meet the distinctive needs of the African continent.
Building upon the success of past editions, the organizing committee has meticulously developed an inclusive scientific program that delves into the primary and current topics in pediatric rheumatology. Additionally, various opportunities have been tailored for the PAFLAR Community to actively participate in networking, idea sharing, and fostering connections with both new and familiar colleagues. This occasion serves as an outstanding platform to forge relationships with influential actors in the global Pediatric Rheumatology field, featuring distinguished speakers and experts from around the globe.
Tunisia, historically known as “Ifrikiya” has consistently been at the crossroads of civilizations, serving as a significant gateway to Africa and a meeting point for people from around the world. It stands as a land where diverse cultures converge, making it a central hub for global interactions.
PAFLAR extends a warm welcome to our colleagues from Africa and around the world. Our team has dedicated significant efforts to ensure the optimal learning and networking experience for you, all with the shared goal of enhancing the lives of our patients worldwide.
We are eagerly looking forward to meeting you in Tunis.
Warmest regards,
Pr. Wafa HAMDI
