Abstract Submission Guidelines
Deadline: May 28th June 4th 23:59 CAT
- Abstracts must be submitted online via the PAFLAR website only.
- Abstracts must be received by the announced deadline. Abstracts received after the deadline will not be considered.
- Abstracts must describe original, previously unpublished work.
- Abstracts could be submitted and presented in English or French.
- Please, choose the desired presentation form for your abstract. However, the scientific committee reserves the right to decide on the final type of presentation after abstract selection.
- Please, choose the topic most related to your abstract. However, the Scientific Committee reserves the right to decide on the final topic after abstract selection.
- Please carefully read all the instructions before preparing your abstract. Once the submission is completed, it’s not possible to correct or implement the abstract.
- For standardization, the total length of the abstract must not exceed 4000 printable characters including spaces (approx. 600 words) and 90 line counts. Characters counts include: the title, body of the abstracts, authors details and tables.
The body of the abstract will be structured as follows with the following subtitles:
- Introduction
- Objectives
- Methods
- Results
- Conclusion
One Table may be included in the “Results” section with the following criteria:
- Maximum number of rows: 10
- Maximum number of columns: 10
*Image or graph may not be included.
- Please, ensure that your abstract does not contain spelling, grammatical or scientific errors, as it will be reproduced exactly as submitted. No proofreading will be done.
- After successful submission, you will receive a confirmation email.
- Abstracts will be peer-reviewed without knowledge of their source and selected by the scientific committee for Oral or E-Posters presentation.
- All abstract authors will be notified by email about acceptance or rejection. Make sure you have inserted a correct email address during the abstract submission process.
- If your abstract is selected, scheduling details and instructions for oral and poster presentations will be included with the email of acceptance.
- Accepted abstracts will be published in the PAFLAR Abstract E-Book.
