Volunteer Position: Vacancy

Volunteer Role:

We are seeking passionate volunteers to join our team and support our mission to enhance paediatric rheumatology healthcare across Africa.

About Us:

PAFLAR is a dedicated association of healthcare professionals, allied healthcare workers, patient support groups, and stakeholders focused on improving the care and management of Rheumatic and Musculoskeletal diseases in African children.

Responsibilities:

The position will report to The President-PAFLAR. The roles are as outlined below;

• Assist in organizing and promoting educational workshops and conferences.
• Assist in running projects
• Support with the organization of committees and subcommittees meetings
• Support advocacy and awareness campaigns.
• Aid in research projects and data collection.
• Engage with patient support activities.
• Assist in responding to members queries.
• Assist in writing reports and minutes
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Strong commitment to child healthcare.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience in healthcare or non-profit organizations is a plus.
